We lay, back first, with our eyes toward
The stars; thinking of naught
Except for the moment of our affection.
The pasture beneath softened our relaxation,
While the gloom of the night covered
us in facelessness.
The cool air of the evening comforted our shared
Presence to erase sadness of the past
And troubles our fate.
We lay calmly, comforted by our own
Breaths of life and soothed by our
Selfish feelings of each other.
We lay lonely as two but like one
Together destined for each other,
Together with walking side by side in this world,
Together we stand against the world, my love.
