The intention is to have a low-magic world, if anyone knows anything about the original gygax bibles and where the dude got all the mustard from (a.o. LOTR -the-book and stuff like Jack-of-Shadows by my fav author Zelazny) set your world in certain settings, right : forgotten realms : everyone a wizard ! ... ravenloft ... then you got the ctulhu thing and what not , all different, take LOTR for instance, middle earth, in the whole series of books there's actually VERY few characters who can use magic, the protagonist can't and by then end even HE has only 3 magic items : the ring (THE ring ..., the little sword that glows in the presence of evil (call that a +1 or something) and the mithril armour ...)
and that's IT ... three whole epic books long ... the magic users are high and far with only Gandalf being on the front a lot, the others being distant : saruman , elrond, (can hardly call bombadil a magic user a he is more like a force of nature/shapeshifter from the early days of the world) , Sauron ofcourse ...if you made it through silmarillion morgoth ...
but that's about it ... so you don't NEED OP casters all over the place to get a good world down
but i DO know my #stuff, Marie ;-) , its just my automated posts net me more and take less time once scripted (which takes time too, even if you dont include the learning period) than writing essays on literature and lore about a world for a game that isn't yet ... but it WILL BE and it will have, the lorescrolls are kinda collectible items for the rarest achievement and master Vance says : don't talk too much about it : it will spoil the magic

hm, ofcourse : i know it doesn't show much for the few 10 lines of code and hours and hours , days and weeks and months of graphics, drawing and rendering so far , HOWEVER ...
