My Actifit Report Card: August 28 2023 || My Birds Got Vaccinated With Lasota Strain On Reaching A Week Old Today

It's another beautiful day and it's with great pleasure that I'm welcoming everyone to my blog and I hope you're having a wonderful day. I am so happy to be here today on this amazing platform to share with you all about new update regarding my poultry farm business and how my day went.
It was a very busy day for me today as I am trying to get my birds vaccine from a veterinary store. It took me a while a to get there because the veterinary store is very far from where I live. Irrespective of that, I still went far to get the vaccine because my birds are exactly a week old today which means they must be vaccinated today and this will go on until they reach four weeks old.

I went to one of the most popular veterinary store in Ilorin metropolis named "AROMOKEYE" pharmacy and Veterinary store to get vaccine for my birds. My broilersbird usually get vaccinated with Lasota Strain and Gumboro twice each until they reach four weeks old like I said earlier. Vaccination is a very important aspect in the life of poultry birds because it play a crucial role towards raising birds successfully and having a great outcome.
Vaccination in poultry birds are in form of water administration and Lasota Strain being one of the vaccine usually administer to poultry birds is recommended for the prevention of a deadly disease called Newcastle in poultry farm. And also gumboro is recommended for prevention of bursal disease in poultry farm business which will be administer to my birds next week.
I was able to took some pictures along the way while going to get the vaccine at the store and my birds get vaccinated with Lasota Strain immediately I got home. As you can see in the picture above, they are busy drinking from the vaccinated water. I am very happy that my birds successful get vaccinated because vaccination is one critical aspect in poultry farm business but I am happy that everything went well and I can boldly say that I had a wonderful day as I was able to reach 10k steps while doing so.
