Today is in the muslimic world the holy Eid Al-Adha or the holy feast of sacrifice.

The History behind this holy feast:

The Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who, according to Muslim tradition, had passed the divine test and was willing to sacrifice his son Ishmael (Isaak) to Allah. When Allah (God) saw His willingness and His trusting in God, He commanded Him to stop. Ibrahim and Ismail then sacrificed a ram with full gratitude in the circle of friends and needy. The story is told in the Koran in Sura 37.99-113.

In the Bible it is the narrative of the sacrifice of Isaac

We wish all Muslims Eid Mubarak who are celebrating this holy feast.
