On this occasion I want to continue the game review of Commandos series. Once in my last post Commandos: Behind Enemy Line, now I proceed to the Commandos 2: Men of Courage series which has a very high difficulty level.
Ancient games are famous for higher levels of difficulty on average than today's games. whether from how to play a difficult, hard-to-find secrets or from a minimal tutorial in the past.
A game for the strategy adventure genre, with no hesitation I say the Commandos Series game is very difficult to play and master. After my initial post on Game Commandos: Behind Enemy Line, this time I tried to make a review Commandos 2: Men of Courage.
Introducing The Elite Commandos
Members of Commandos 2: Men of Courage is also the same as in the first Commandos game I've ever posted before, they are : Green Beret, Sniper, Driver, Sapper, Diver, Spy, Seductress and Thief.
This Commandos 2 game takes us to World War II, where at each level we will be provided some Commandos personnel to use. Each level has a different number of personnel, according to their mission needs. Each troop has a very influential role when involved in a mission.

This gameplay Commandos 2 adopted RTS (real time strategy) with a point of view "top - down", You can zoom in, zoom out, to play the game area of 90o. In accordance with the RTS standard, interactions are done with clicks, clicks, and clicks.
But make no mistake, unlike other RTSs that are still friendly if you only have mouse only as a control tool, here you will not be able to go anywhere without a keyboard. Because the shortcut button is very important and many actions are not available if you just refer to the UI on the screen and use the mouse only.

That's what makes me busy running Commandos 2 and other literations. This experience I experienced during childhood and recently when I play it again. The difference, if I had given up, now I have more initiative that I will tell next.

Although at the beginning of the game I was upset and frustrated to think of not continuing the game, the curiosity (and prestige) made me read the manual and finally managed to master at least basic controls.
After squinting trying to read for a few minutes, I also understood the basic controls. The point is the Shift, Tab, and Spacebar buttons. The rest I decided to learn while playing. The result? Hard try that produces sweetness.
A truly unequal satisfaction when it has conquered a level here. Although dozens of times (dozens maybe) fail and do stupid steps, Commandos 2 managed to keep me glued to the PC for a few hours each day.

Commandos 2 for me is an IQ test game presented with a background of World War II, where my intellectual level is at stake here. I try to catch the highest score by doing everything quietly, although sometimes I have to submit by throwing grenades at any time.
For those of you who want a full game of shooting action, you can actually find here. But it often ends with all your characters dead. One bullet is fired, then the entire troop on the map will pursue the source of a merciless voice.

Commandos 2 really appreciates your efforts in action without being caught and very strongly punish you when it fails to do so. Therefore my advice is to save as often as possible. Featuresquicksave and quickload exist for a reason.
Do not throw a chair over your enemies and have to repeat the difficulty you're going through all over again. No, this is not personal experience.
In terms of graphics, Commandos 2 in my opinion has a cool visuals of his time. For the screen resolution at that moment, the details of each character are pretty good, especially in the menu section. Various items and weapons that exist in the inventory menu are also presented with interesting.
For sound issues, I have various experiences. The background music itself for me personally is quite disturbing the concentration of thinking and I switch off even though it actually supports game atmosphere. Then either I'm not fluent in English, but the voice of this game is sometimes less clear and make mission briefings less than the maximum. Unfortunately there is no subtitle option in Commandos 2.

There is no tolerance for those looking for safe in this game. Commandos 2 does not provide Easy difficulty options, only Normal, Hard, and Very Hard. The experience I wrote myself was in Normal mode, which made me play seven days a week to complete just one level.
That's a review I can tell on this occasion, maybe for those of you who have never played this game will feel very alien, but for those who have played this game really experience and extraordinary challenges that are packaged served in a game of silent war tactics genre.
