Hoy traigo a ustedes un dibujo que hice basándome es una de las obras artísticas que más me ha gusta, si bien el fantasma de la ópera es una obra literaria su historia ha gustado tanto que ha sido realizado se podría decir que en todas las formas de arte posible, música, opera, ballet, teatro, cine, series, comic, es realmente fantástico como ha sido adaptada a tantos medios.

Today I bring you a drawing that I made based on one of the artistic works that I like the most, although the Phantom of the Opera is a literary work, its history has been liked so much that it has been made, it could be said that in all forms of possible art, music, opera, ballet, theater, cinema, series, comics, it's really fantastic how it has been adapted to so many media.

Cuento con una tabla para dibujar sin embargo sigo haciendo los bocetos a mano porque no logro captar las dimensiones o saber con qué tamaño debo trabajar en el programa donde dibujo Paintoolsai.

Esta es la primera vez que realmente estoy dibujando una figura masculina, yo siempre he dibujado mujeres ya que con ellas se puede experimentar muchísimo más en la apariencia, ropa, estética a diferencia de los hombres que suelen ser más sencillos.

Decidí hacerlo en su balcón de opera ya que es una escena que me encanta, me parece tan romántica; muchas personas describen a el fantasma de la opera como un hombre “loco” y si es cierto que sus comportamiento es obsesivo y agresivo yo lo veo más desde el punto de vista de una víctima de sus circunstancia pues alguien que creció escondiéndose de los demás, con complejos, rechazos y demás problemas no podría crecer como alguien normal por lo que su historia es más “la tragedia de un hombre enamorado”.

Para su apariencia me base en la interpretación de la mini serie de 2 capítulos de 1990 donde el actor Charles Dance interpreta el papel de Erick (fantasma de la opera).

Desconozco si la vestimenta que elegí seria correcta para el tiempo en el que tiene vida este personaje pero me deje llevar por cómo me gustaría verlo vestido.
