Friendly greetings to all,
Art theorists have historically said that art is a reflection of the society that generates it, and I agree with that statement.
The artist, if he considers himself a creator of his time, must at some point touch or address in his work issues that speak of the fact that he was really part of the social dynamics of his time, creating works that are directly or indirectly linked to the problems or the environment in which he develops.

Also, this reflection can be given by the use of material resources of the time or supported by philosophy and other theoretical components that the social framework provides.
Today I bring to your appreciations and points of view a work in which I show you a drawing inspired by new technologies, the use of solar panels as an energy alternative, and I make a fabulation based on the limit that this technology represents when the sun does not cooperate with all its power.
We live in a country with a climate of two great seasons a year: winter and the summer. Both present characteristics that contradict the spirit of conservation and exploitation of solar energy, since in winter the days are almost always cloudy, and in summer, although the sun is strong and radiant, it is a rainy period and, especially in the afternoons, clouds and rain appear naturally.
Based on that situation, I created a composition in which I metaphorically represent a farmer with some sticks trying to push away the clouds so that, through space, that has created, the sun passes powerfully and activates the system of solar panels installed on the earth.
To make this drawing, I only used a black ink pen and a small piece of Bristol board. I didn't try to make the drawing too perfectionist, because the important thing for me, of course, without neglecting the technique, was to show the idea, which could also have been resolved through the genre.
But I like traditional drawing better for this type of content and applying chiaroscuro to give more expressiveness to the composition.

Saludos amistosos para todos,
Los teóricos del arte históricamente han dicho que el arte es un reflejo de la sociedad que lo genera, y yo estoy de acuerdo con ese enunciado.
El artista, si se considera un creador de su época, debe en algún momento tocar o abordar en su obra asuntos que hablen de que realmente fue parte de la dinámica social de su momento, creando obras que estén vinculadas directa o indirectamente con las problemáticas o con el entorno en que se desarrolla.
También, ese reflejo puede estar dado por el uso de recursos materiales de la época o apoyado por la filosofía y otros componentes teóricos que el marco social aporta.
Hoy les traigo a sus apreciaciones y puntos de vista una obra en la que les muestro un dibujo inspirado en las nuevas tecnologías, el uso de los paneles solares como alternativa energética, y hago una fabulación a partir del límite que esta tecnología supone cuando el sol no coopera con toda su potencia.
Vivimos en un país con un clima de dos grandes estaciones al año: el invierno y el verano. Ambas presentan características que entran en contradicción con el espíritu de conservación y explotación de la energía solar, pues en invierno los días casi siempre son nublados, y en verano, aunque el sol es fuerte y radiante, es un periodo de lluvias y, sobre todo por las tardes, aparecen de forma natural las nubes y la lluvia.
Basado en esa situación, creé una composición en la que represento metafóricamente a un campesino con unas varas tratando de apartar las nubes para que, a través del espacio que ha creado, el sol pase potente y active el sistema de los paneles solares instalados en la tierra.
Para realizar este dibujo, solo utilicé un bolígrafo de tinta color negro y un pedacito de cartulina Bristol. No traté de que el dibujo fuera demasiado perfeccionista, pues lo importante para mí, claro, sin descuidar la técnica, era mostrar la idea, que también pudo haber sido resuelta a través del género.
Pero me gusta más el dibujo tradicional para este tipo de contenido y aplicar el claroscuro para darle más expresividad a la composición.
