So I just got a new job. I'm extremely grateful.
However, this job is for at restaurant who I just happened to get a hold of at the precise moment when they just lost a handful of people.
About 2 months ago, Hurricane Florence hit my former job (a hotel with a restaurant at the beach)... and forced my job to close down until spring for reconstruction.
I had been collecting disaster unemployment for the last month or two.. and they payed me a whopping total of maybe 800 dollars. Take it from me, unemployment is not something to sit around and lounge on or depend upon.
The blog must go on. And now I have everything and I'm so blessed to be able to ramble on from a home with wifi and running water in a first world country! More to come!
