So today I am enjoying a day without work, as if I haven't done that enough in the last couple weeks due to the hurricane. Life is moving at a slower pace, as if everyone was just humbled by creation in unison and now we are all bowing our heads as we pick up the pieces in an attempt to get back to homeostasis all the while keeping this new found reverence for mother nature and her ability to decimate any and all structures we have grown accustomed to at the forefront of our minds.
I will probably re visit and edit this (which is another thing I LOVE about steemit) - but in the meantime, I'm going to try and actually clean my house. Hope everyone else who was affected by hurricane florence is doing well !
