When I first started writing on the blockchain, I wrote mostly about the things that mattered to me in life. I felt comfortable writing about my passions, rather than my day to day life. But also, I think I was laying the foundations of my life, the things that inspire and motivate me. I wrote about birth a lot, sharing what I had learnt, information that is generally concealed from us. Trying my hardest to promote the power of our bodies during birth, whilst also exposing how birth is tried like a business nowadays, focused more on disempowering women.
They there was education, how I have been unschooling myself, whilst watching my children educate themselves. How play, is one of the most important aspects of education, how our children are being robbed of the opportunity to do just that, all in order to make them more obedient, law abiding citizens. Take play away, for everyone and what is left. Play helps us to develop coping mechanisms, it helps prepare us for life.
Then there is my love for nature, how importance it is for me to celebrate and be in service to her. Our great mother. That's how I view nature. How it is the basis of my spiritually. I still love to write about the importance of celebrating the seasons, of living a life, that is in tune with those seasons, of embracing the empowering lessons that come from observing and connecting with nature. Of living a simple life, simple but full of so many wonderful treasures, natural treasures. Nature encompasses so much for me, my love of natural medicine being one of them, which is something I have also wrote a lot about, as well as growing my own medicine, in the way of food.
I have shared so much poetry on here, I hope to one day, put them all together. Some of them, only exist on the blockchain, so I would like to make a copy and one day even print them. It is in my poetry that I have shared some of my darkest moments, even deepest secrets, but not in the most obvious way, I do like to be abstract sometimes, with my poetry. Sharing my poetry, is what paved the way, for me to share more about my personal life. Sharing some of the most challenging times in my life. Realising how therapeutic my sharing was for me and maybe even for some of those who read what I write.
Now, I share more about my day to day life. No sugar coating anything, because right now, what we need, is people being real with one another. Well that is what I believe anyway. I sit in front of this screen sometimes with an idea to share, but lately, the urge to share my day, over rides that. So I just go with it. I go with what feels right. So I guess, what you write about, should just be about, what feels right to you.
