It's been a while since I've posted, and I apologize for my absence. Had many things going on all at once (but fear not, they have been good things), so I have been unable to take the time to post.
I recently experienced a medical procedure (the first time I've ever been to a hospital as a patient), and needless to say, I was nervous. The nurses were all wonderful, however my wild imagination haunted me and that constant fear of the unknown vexed me to my soul. I had met with my doctor once before, but had not made the connection that I did in my heightened state of near panic as I lay on the stretcher in the procedure room. In walks my doctor, ready for the procedure, and when I saw him, it was then that I made the connection: he could be a perfect double for Stephen King.
That DEFINITELY didn't help with my anxiety. But, again, the nursing staff was very soothing and comforting to me, and when the anesthesiologist administered the medication, the next thing that I recall happening is the nurse gently tapping my arm and waking me up to tell me the procedure was completed. All was good news, and despite negligible soreness (mostly from the surgical tape having yanked the hair from my arm), I escaped unscathed.
Being the digital artist and creative person that I am, I came up with an amusing poster idea, and spent the evening creating it and fine tuning it. So, here is the next adventure of Tallahassee Jenkins.
Many thanks for taking a moment to view my post. Yes, I plan on giving my doctor a print out of this; he will find it hilarious. I'll have other news forthcoming, regarding Pelmythia and the release of the first book in the series. Fair winds and smooth seas to you all...
