It is amazing how memories come flooding back when we see things like this. I still remember rocking Asteroids and Missile Command thinking I could beat them, there had to be an end, there was no way games

The only thing that really bothers me about digital only is the totalitarian level of control console manufacturers have over the stores. Sony is shutting down the PS3 online store. I understand it costs

🤣🤣🤣 Right?!?

So far, the backlash has been immense and Sony has even avoided social media for several days following this announcement. They are likely walking this back now. Still, as you said, it is inevitable. There

The idea of the Callback is interesting and could work, just their advertising direction is all wrong in my opinion (outside the AI, that is a separate issue for me). They are advertising this as a dumb

Your points are convertible to Satoshis or PayPal via the game. Bling games all collectively add up your points so you can play many games and earn then cashout. I am not a fan of this points to other

I know we are not earning many Satoshis but something is better than nothing and with the way nearly every mobile game now shows ads between levels, I will take one that at least gives me something for

Oh man, if they don't give Odie at least some gameplay then they REALLY missed a great opportunity here! I love Garfield too. When I was younger, my first digest/collection book was a Garfield compilation

I loved the context of doing moves. Like Hayabusa's kick, you had to be in the right position to hit it and your opponent better not be stunned when you try but oh so awesome if you could time it to hit

Could have been licensing issues. I only mentiond the possibibility of a 16-Bit exclusive deal with Sega since the Game Boy "The Real Ghostbusters" never got a Super Nintendo, or even Sega Genesis

On one hand, super powers in Battle Royale sounds awesome but then the purist in me really enjoyed the way CoD Mobile was last time I played (a couple years now since I really sat down and put time in).

Keep in mind, I am not a programmer. The only thing from the original game being used here is the original WAD files to create the levels in a custom engine. The Doom engine is not being used here (it

Starman and Fighter Hayabusa were my choices playing this one. So much fun, and those two characters played so differently. I have to give props to King Corn Kong for his using the piledriver.

Yeah, that is the guy I referenced as likely doing this as a vaguely disguised challenge to the community. He does a lot of stuff with retro hardware, some simply should not be possible.

Actually no, just seriously underpowered in the necessary areas to make it look good. I know it is rough but, maybe research a little before throwing the obligatory "Ai" reply. People could accuse

Oh wow! They have changed a lot since I played. I really need to make time to play more. It has probably been a couple years since I last logged in and ran a few rounds.

Playing R-Type is very similar to most games in the genre. The graphics and those powerups are what separates it to the upper echelon of 2D side scrolling shooters and makes it memorable.

What game is this? My apologies for not knowing, this is the first time I remember seeing your content pop up and the game looks cool.

I have no idea why but for some reason, I love these fishing games on mobile. Maybe it is the locales available or the variety in fish to catch, far beyond what is available in Central Arkansas. Whatever

I am right there with you on both counts. I often find myself wondering the same thing about many ports of games, some I cover here while others I just don't feel are worth writing up. I know it is their
