RE: Garfield Escape from Monday Throws the Lazy Cat Into Action
Oh man, if they don't give Odie at least some gameplay then they REALLY missed a great opportunity here! I love Garfield too. When I was younger, my first digest/collection book was a Garfield compilation

RE: Top games of my youth: Pro Wrestling on NES
I loved the context of doing moves. Like Hayabusa's kick, you had to be in the right position to hit it and your opponent better not be stunned when you try but oh so awesome if you could time it to hit

RE: Ghostbusters on Sega Genesis Sees More Additions Coming to Special Edition
Could have been licensing issues. I only mentiond the possibibility of a 16-Bit exclusive deal with Sega since the Game Boy "The Real Ghostbusters" never got a Super Nintendo, or even Sega Genesis

RE: Finally Unlocked The New Weapon
On one hand, super powers in Battle Royale sounds awesome but then the purist in me really enjoyed the way CoD Mobile was last time I played (a couple years now since I really sat down and put time in).

RE: Doom Port Work in Progress Ports to Neo Geo Advance
Keep in mind, I am not a programmer. The only thing from the original game being used here is the original WAD files to create the levels in a custom engine. The Doom engine is not being used here (it

RE: Top games of my youth: Pro Wrestling on NES
Starman and Fighter Hayabusa were my choices playing this one. So much fun, and those two characters played so differently. I have to give props to King Corn Kong for his using the piledriver.

RE: Doom Port Work in Progress Ports to Neo Geo Advance
Yeah, that is the guy I referenced as likely doing this as a vaguely disguised challenge to the community. He does a lot of stuff with retro hardware, some simply should not be possible.

Actually no, just seriously underpowered in the necessary areas to make it look good. I know it is rough but, maybe research a little before throwing the obligatory "Ai" reply. People could accuse

Oh wow! They have changed a lot since I played. I really need to make time to play more. It has probably been a couple years since I last logged in and ran a few rounds.

RE: Game Boy R-Type Game Receives Second Chance at Life
Playing R-Type is very similar to most games in the genre. The graphics and those powerups are what separates it to the upper echelon of 2D side scrolling shooters and makes it memorable.

What game is this? My apologies for not knowing, this is the first time I remember seeing your content pop up and the game looks cool.

RE: hive gaming | Fishing clash🎣| coverd by @traveltour
I have no idea why but for some reason, I love these fishing games on mobile. Maybe it is the locales available or the variety in fish to catch, far beyond what is available in Central Arkansas. Whatever

I am right there with you on both counts. I often find myself wondering the same thing about many ports of games, some I cover here while others I just don't feel are worth writing up. I know it is their

RE: Necro Pop A New Game For Neo Geo Hitting All Modern Platforms As Well
I agree, it looks fun. I plan on grabbing it on Steam if the price is right (if they come in at $50 it is going to be a hard sell but I would grab this at $20 easily).

RE: Necro Pop A New Game For Neo Geo Hitting All Modern Platforms As Well
My concern with these newer Neo Geo games is, well simply, most do not look like a Neo Geo game but they are charging Neo Geo game prices, seemingly because "they can". Back in the day, Neo Geo

The developer behind this is definitely talented. I hope they continue working on this, and more ports in the future. Who knows, maybe Sega will come knocking, in a good way, like they did that one developer

Prices for vintage and new is financially degradingly horrible. The Star Wars figures, and GI Joe of the same scale, are disgustingly high for what fans are getting. In my area, they are $20+ for the original
