RE: Palamedes (NES)
Super Puzzle Fighter was one that missed me, I had so much trouble wrapping my head around the mechanics. I wanted to enjoy it but in arcades, it was always crowded so if I got to get a round in it was

RE: Palamedes (NES)
I remember wanting this one but the one store that stocked NES games near me never had it in stock. When we went on family road trips, I never had the money to buy it when I did see it. I still have not

RE: My Played Video Games Review: Metal Warriors for the Super Nintendo
This is one of those games that I wanted but never had a chance to get back in the day. The local gaming stores barely stocked anything outside the big names of gaming, and even then it was one or two

RE: Mortal Kombat II Getting a Newer Port to Commodore Amiga By Fan
People like me sometimes forget we are quite priveleged when it comes to gaming, or entertainment in general, that the rest of the world may not have gotten to enjoy. Thanks to emulation, the playing field

It is definitely wild that what many said was a quickly stale idea was able to mature and become what it is today. I remember magazines, and friends, bringing up the shortcomings of the first game, and

I definitely sit out most game releases till more information is available on how difficult they are. I am older, my reflexes are not what they used to be and my free time to enjoy games does not allow

RE: Unofficial Wonder Boy Sequel in Works for The Atari 520 ST
Definitely. I love game hacks that add/change things in games I have played over and over already. It is almost like a new game sometimes.

I can hardly wait to see what you think of these types of games. There are some great ones, and some bad as well, but generally, if you play enough, you will find a couple you will enjoy.

RE: "Halloween: The Game" - Experience the stealthy terror.
I agree, this one is definitely high on my list of games to play when it releases. I hope they can keep the tension the movies had.

RE: Even Death Cannot Keep the World Safe from Acclaim
I was born in 1976 so I grew up with gaming, I was the prime age/audience for Mortal Kombat and while I played the SNES Mortal Kombat that weekend for the time I rented it, I never bought it or went back.

I learned real quick about difficult platforming games that were difficult just for the sake of difficulty when I saw what some people were doing in hacks or one of the Super Mario Maker games. I just

A few companies have closed doors years ago and made comebacks under new management - ColecoVision, Kodak, Polaroid, and many more are on that list. Some have pretty good success while others are still

RE: Even Death Cannot Keep the World Safe from Acclaim
Mortal Kombat 1 on SNES was a decent fighting game but it really showed the flaws of the base game when the blood was taken out. What sucks is it came out in interviews with former employees of both Acclaim

I agree, they did have some good games, just my experience with them was fairly bad. While I loved their wrestling releases on the Super Nintendo, if you didn't have a rapid fire controller available you

RE: No More Bluesky for Me
Bluesky was a decent platform to use to interact with others that enjoy gaming, what I was there for, but I am sure there are just as many in other categories as well.
