RE: Contractors Looks to Bring that Classic Contra Gaming To Atari 2600
On one hand, copyright and trademark laws in the U.S. are archaic at best. Very constricting but for a reason, I am sure.

RE: Resident Evil Meets Law and Order in Cold Case for Sega Saturn
I don't know how I completely forgot about Alone in the Dark, I played the first one on 3DO and loved it. Sure it was slow but at the time, what else did we have to compare it to? For me it was SNES to

RE: Classic Baseball Game Bases Loaded Arrives on Steam and GoG.com
Oh yeah, I remember the Baseball Stars games. SNK had a knack with baseball. The Neo Geo games were much better than the NES versions released (though it was still fun). I was a huge fan of Neo Geo in

RE: Contractors Looks to Bring that Classic Contra Gaming To Atari 2600
It sucks but for United States based creators they have to protect their copyrights and trademarks. If they do not then others can actually forcefully take the IPs. Like a hostile takeover in a company.

RE: Contractors Looks to Bring that Classic Contra Gaming To Atari 2600
Thank you. I just enjoy this era of gaming and want to share with others the great work being done as it is often overlooked by larger creators/websites. I agree, it is a shame they can't make a physical

RE: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Brawler Using OpenBOR
Oh man, Scooby Doo was another favorite of mine. Growing up in the 80s, we only had basic cable and none of the channels carried Scooby Doo (the one that did was on extended Basic for another $15 a month

RE: Contra Meets Doom for One Level, More Depending on Your Favorite Contra Game
I think it would help in the later levels to feel more Contra-like, the ones that are more industrial like (in line with what fans saw in the PSOne/PS2 though looking at some videos of those, I am hard

While I do love that first level, I do recognize the nostalgia that fans of other Contra games may feel seeing the later levels. This is like a general nostalgia trip through Contra games as a whole. The

RE: Quake II Re-Imagined by Artificial Intelligence by Microsoft
It is sad that AI is being used that way. So many menial tasks could be automated with AI freeing up untold numbers of hours of effort each year by people. Instead we have AI making bad looking fake action

Como en la mayoría de los Battle Royale, al principio, cuando no sabes muy bien qué hacer ni qué esperar, puede ser extremadamente difícil disfrutarlo. A medida que juegas, mejorarás y conseguirás

RE: Quake II Re-Imagined by Artificial Intelligence by Microsoft
I am sure you already know why that is, but for those that don't know, it is because AI is absolutely useless without being trained, fed, something to learn from. I am against it myself as well. I don't

It looks like it. I am actually wanting to attempt setting everything up so I can play that first level.

RE: Is Nintendo Taking on Second Hand Game Market?
I am definitely a generation or two behind kind of gamer. I just cannot afford to keep up with the current gen. I actually stepped out of console gaming with the PS3/X360 era over prices. The releasing

RE: Castlevania II Simons Quest Port to Sega Master System In Progress
Konami has taken the official stance a few times over the years that they are fine with fans using their past titles as long as there is no money charged for them. I wish more companies were like Konami.

RE: Go To Hell on Your Atari 2600 With This Fan Doom Game
Facts. The jump from what was on PC around 1993, for me it was the height of point and click games, to then see Doom running on the same PC as the recent King's Quest game was mindblowing. It was just

Not my game, I am just the messenger trying to help these amazing game developers reach more fans. Some of these developers are simply beyond amazing.

There is not a lot of replay value once you dial them in but if you ever wanted to have some control over a cartoon, they can be fun. If you can, I would suggest emulating them on Sega CD first as these

RE: Retro Review - The Lucky Dime Caper starring Donald Duck (Master System)
Thank you. I grew up with gaming from Pong to the PS3/Xbox 360 era where I checked out (when the whole always on Internet even was hinted at I was out). I have so many awesome memories of 8 to 32-Bit gaming,
