RE: "Cuphead" The best indie game I have played ING/ESP
Cuphead certainly has a unique look and feel to it that helps it stand out against the competition. It literally looks like a cartoon that we get to play.

RE: Streets of Rage Revolution to Bring Franchise Into 3D
I agree. This genre is already somewhat 3D in you have a field to move around in. The main thing to upgrade would be the static backgrounds - give those some 2.5D styling and boom, we are off to the races

RE: You Can Now Create 3D Levels Directly on Game Boy Advance
My apologies for not replying sooner, I could have sworn I did but apparently that was a dream. I try to be transparent in my coverage of these things. That way the people behind these projects, and other

RE: Cyber Mission is Bringing Forgotten Worlds Style Action to Sega Genesis
They are pulling inspiration from many popular titles with this one. I am confident it will be a good game as the company behind it, PSCD, have a track record of more great games than bad.

RE: Let's Play "OBLIVION_EVE" (PICO-8) - An Extremely Polished Platformer
Definitely an interesting game, thanks for sharing a video so we could see it in action. So awesome what the Pico-8 is able to do with such limited hardware.

I am right there with you on remaking movies that failed for whatever reason, money, star power, marketing, whatever. I read somewhere over the years more than once that the rights to the The Last Starfighter

RE: Developer Finds and Updates Code From 1988 for Release on ColecoVision Console
I am glad to meet you, someone that knows Nanochess' work already. He deserves a lot more exposure, he is quite talented and making some amazing games over there in his corner of the Internet.

RE: Little Shop of Horrors New Remake in the Works
Very good point. Often I view remakes as a studio taking another shot at something, if it is good, I enjoy it, if not, I simply ignore it in the timeline (whether the studio does or not). Most of the time

RE: Five Mario Kart 64 Hacks That Add More Fun to Nintendo Classic
There are many more but these are the ones that changed the most, and I was interested in. Until I saw the Simpsons one randomly pop up on my YouTube home screen, I was not aware people were hacking Mario

RE: Rayman, a videogame that has beaten time
Oh definitely a console that came and went with not a whole lot of people even knowing it was here. Atari certainly mismanaged it.

That is too cool, they even have the batplane level with the balloons. Looks incredible though I am still quit new to the ZX Spectrum, it looks like it was a fairly decent gaming computer in the right

RE: Rayman, a videogame that has beaten time
Little known fact, now I figure, is Rayman was initially the flagship action platformer for the Atari Jaguar console. Atari featured it in many ads (which were mostly dominated by only their releases).

RE: LEGO Jurassic World gameplay and first impressions
The last one of these I played was probably the first Lego Indiana Jones game on PSP back when it first released. I have not played much of any after that as it just felt like the same thing with new graphics.

That is freaking awesome about your brother. The best I ever got with game development was drawing a circle on screen and doing the first lesson - Hello World challenge 😂 I quickly learned I much prefer

RE: Top Racer Collection Now Available for PlayStation Nintendo More Platforms
I lived out in the boonies from 1991 to about 2002 with friends being pen pals 😂 I later got friends that helped with getting to enjoy more games though.

I remmember reading gaming magazines back in the day and seeing Lotus touted as awsome, sadly, I never got to play it myself, I was squarely into console gaming at that time - PC's were just so far out

RE: Electronic Gaming Monthly (May 1992)
I absolutly loved reading EGM, Gamefan, Game Player's and the rest. I still have a ton of them in a closet. Years ago I got to work with both EGM and Gamefan (their rebirths by the original owners) for

I suck at them too but I still enjoy them and try to cover those games for fans that might not know about them yet. I have made a small career and fortune on YouTube by sucking at Fortnite so it is possible.

This one looks interesting, I am a big fan of rogue-like games where you can't see the whole level until you explore it. I am setting this one aside for a bit of play time myself this week. Thanks for

RE: Let's Play "Shape of Mind" (PICO-8) - A Relaxing Puzzle Game
This looks like an amazing idea for a puzzle game that reminds me of those stacking and sorting games that are popular on mobile (I am currently addicted to one called Hexa Sort). This looks challenging.
