Little known fact, now I figure, is Rayman was initially the flagship action platformer for the Atari Jaguar console. Atari featured it in many ads (which were mostly dominated by only their releases). I never got into the original, 2D one, but I played the sequel quite a bit on Sega Dreamcast. Fun, if not sometimes infuriating, franchise.
