RE: Bionic Commando Blasts onto the Nintendo Entertainment System - December 1st, 1988 - Today in Video Game History
There was but no one talks about it because Capcom left it in that failed "Games for Windows" brand - you can no longer connect to the servers to verify ownership so the game won't play on PC

Wow, almost like those "what was popular when you were born" type things. Lol One way to look at it though, you were at the right age to get these games cheap at yard sales and such. I was born

RE: Castlevania Symphony of the Night Sees Sale on Android
It certainly goes in waves. Great to see companies supporting their old franchises though, even if only through sales and re-releases.

RE: Tetris Tetrisizes World on Nintendo Entertainment System – November 20th, 1989 – Today in Video Game History
I just checked out Tetris Effect on Xbox Game Pass and before I knew it, an hour or so passed. You are right, it is still addicting and fun. Thanks for the heads up on that one as I was not aware of it

I had a few of those knockoff handhelds over the years. Some were cool while others were simply lacking from the word go.

Just imagine if the Soviet Union was not so totalitarian and allowed more stuff like this to be created. Makes you wonder just how many awesome potentially awesome games were snuffed out due to socialist

RE: The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition Gamecube is Released - November 17th, 2003 - Today in Video Game History
I agree, 2000 to 2010 was a blur for me as well. I was never able to get copies of the N64 Zelda's so I missed out on those. I have played most of the portable ones though. Still, A Link to the Past on

RE: Lara Croft Tomb Raider Makes Her Professional PlayStation Sega Saturn and PC Debut – November 14th, 1996 – Today in Video Game History
Tomb Raider can get hellish in later levels - there is a lot of switch using and moving sections and such in the later levels that requires a lot of trial and error to figure out. There is even a secret

The original Tomb Raider is not a very forgiving game. They redid a lot of the annoying parts in the remake in 2013 that make the game, obviously, better looking but also a little easier to figure out

RE: Prizefighters 2 Makes Android Early Access Landing, Punchout Fans Check This Out
Google Play is weird sometimes. There are tons of games that are compatible with my devices that will not show up in search. If I find a link to the games from outside of Google Play and use that to access

Please let us know if it works on your phone. Would be interesting to know just how old a version of Android it supports.

RE: Super Mario Land 2 – Six Golden Coins Pushes Nintendo Game Boy – November 2nd, 1992 - Today in Video Game History
I got one back in 2003 when I needed it. I have long since moved onto GBA for portable gaming in that regard. I also now have a 3DS and such - something about Nintendo developed games. I agree with you

I completely agree with you about playing a ROM on other hardware. Especially Nintendo games. They certainly make the hardware for their games (just look at that Gamecube controller for instance). I remember

I was in a similar situation, a friend had the game but I did not. I would stay at his house a weekend or so a month after this was released and we would play it till we fell asleep on Friday and Saturday

I agree, this is very similar to Wall-E by Disney. Strikingly so. Lol. I was not aware there was a trick at the title screen though.
