RE: Shenmue Sees Unreal Engine 4 Recreation
Unfortunately, Sega has never been known for sound business decisions. They have proven that time after time. Just look at how they handled the Saturn - no 16-Bit IP's brought over, no Sonic at, or even

RE: Garfield Run Reviews
Of all the licenses they could have pulled for a running game, Garfield is probably the last one I would expect. Seems, from your review, that the developers weren't into it either.

RE: Let's Play the First Level of The TakeOver on Steam
That is awesome. It is a good game, for sure. I love the attention to detail they put into it.

It certainly has an atmosphere about it.

RE: Dante´s Inferno: A Forgotten Videogame
I just looked and yes, I have the PlayStation 3 version. I just have to hook that console back up. I focus more on portable gaming due to real life getting in the way of being home for very long.

RE: Dante´s Inferno: A Forgotten Videogame
Great review. I have this game on PSP but never actually played it. I believe I even have a copy on PlayStation 3 as well (problem of having several hundred games is you forget exactly what you have).

RE: Salamander Infects Japanese Arcades – July 4th, 1986 - Today in Video Game History
The Anniversary Collection information was added after the article was up for about 5 minutes, it took me that long to realize I forgot to mention it. So, there is a chance you caught the first version

RE: Missile Command Enlists Arcade Gamers to Defense Force – July 3rd, 1980 - Today in Video Game History
I was horrible at this game in the arcades. Probably a combination of having to stand on a milk crate to see the screen and reach controls and my being quite young at that point. I did love this game on

I have not heard of that Ninja Warriors Once Again before. Going to have to look that up.

RE: Grand Theft Auto Brings Open World Crime to Playstation – June 30th, 1998 - Today in Video Game History
I need to research it more some day to find out what game was purchased and made into GTA. It was an Amiga game, I know that. I need to check out Payback when I get a chance, I like the old style GTA games,

RE: Diablo II Turns 20 Years Old Today
I completely agree, environment and stimuli must factor into how we accept/remember video games. Like for me, I grew up in northern California and then the "boonies" of Arkansas for my later

RE: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie Hits Super Nintendo – June 30th, 1995 - Today in Video Game History
Do it! Get those consoles out, play them. Enjoy them. Relive those memories. And yes, I agree, TMNT is better. Not as good as Final Fight but still better than Power Rangers. Though, the Power Rangers

RE: RETRO Game // Top Gear Classic
Keep an eye on Piko Interactive, they bought the rights to the engine/games (but not the name). Going to probably be some ports and new entries in this series coming.

RE: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie Hits Super Nintendo – June 30th, 1995 - Today in Video Game History
I have a soft spot for Power Rangers myself. For me it started airing in the United States just as I was getting bored with cartoons and such (I was not a fan of the art style direction things were going).

RE: Diablo II Turns 20 Years Old Today
I am right there with you on feeling my age with some of these games. That is what makes it so much fun to write them up though. I get a chance to relive a little bit of my younger years again, sometimes

Which release is your favorite? I know the console versions are pretty much censored as there were some bits in the arcade game that were not allowed.

Solomon's Key was one of those games I picked up from a rental store clearance sale back in the day. No instructions, no box, just the game and a clear clamshell case like what they rented games in. After

RE: Sonic Brings Speed to Sega Genesis – June 23rd, 1991 - Today in Video Game History
You were definitely not alone in that regard. Many credit this game with turning Sega around in the console wars.
