Blogging Challenge - Part 04 - Day 26
What´s the craziest conversation you´ve overheard?
The first one that comes to mind is one I heard a few years ago in my office.
But first I have to put you in context, I work in an architectural office, where projects are designed and built. On top of this, there is a lot of mess, so there are a lot of conflicts, misunderstandings and loss of money. This causes my boss to have to fight a lot.
She happened to be on a call one day, fighting with a person.
- NO, BECAUSE I TOLD YOU THERE WAS NO SUCH THING.
- NOO, YOU CAN'T BUY THAT ONE, CHOOSE ANOTHER ONE.
(Yes, all in capital letters because she was shouting and you could hear it in the workshop, because her office is next to us) And she with a lot of euphoria was still arguing with this person on the phone.
Then she says to him:
- BUT I TOLD DANY (the driver) TO BUY, YOU DIDN'T TELL HIM WHAT YOU WANT?.
At all this the whole office is shaken, and analyzing who she is talking to, because normally when discussions like this happen it is because one of us screwed up in some project and we have to see how to solve it.
Suddenly, she calms down and says:
- But do you want sprinkles or chocolate?
- Okay, I'll tell Dany to buy those.
TURNS OUT, that all this time she was talking to her daughter, about some ice cream they wanted to buy, and we were thinking they were going to fire us all. (laughs) but nothing, life is like that sometimes.

Blogging Challenge - Part 04 - Day 26
¿Cuál es la conversación más loca que has escuchado?
La primera que me llega a la mente, es una que escuché, hacen unos años en mi oficina.
Pero primero tengo que ponerte en contexto, trabajo en una oficina de arquitectura, en donde se diseñan y construyen proyectos. Además de esto, hay mucho desorden, por lo tanto hay muchos conflictos, malentendidos y perdida de dinero. Esto hace que mi jefa tenga que pelear mucho.
Resulta que ella estaba un día, en una llamada peleando con una persona.
- NO, PORQUE YO TE DIJE QUE NO HABIA DE ESE.
- NOO, NO SE PUEDE COMPRAR DE ESE, ELIGE OTRO.
(Si, todo en mayúscula porque ella estaba gritando y se escuchaba en el taller, porque su oficina está al lado de nosotros) Y Ella con mucha euforia seguía discutiendo con esta persona al teléfono.
Luego le dice:
- PERO YO LE DIJE A DANY (el chofer) QUE COMPRARA, TU NO LE DIJISTE EL QUE QUERIAS?
A todo esto la oficina completa está conmovida, y analizando con quien está hablando, porque normalmente cuando pasan discusiones así es porque uno de nosotros metió la pata en algún proyecto y hay que ver como solucionarlo.
De pronto, ella se tranquiliza y dice:
- ¿Pero quieres entonces con chispitas o de chocolate?
- Esta bien, le voy a decir a Dany que compre de esos
RESULTA, que ella todo este tiempo estaba hablando con su hija, de unos helados que querían comprar, y nosotros pensando que nos iban a despedir a todos. (se ríe) pero nada, la vida es así a veces.
