Here's a new entry for the #treetuesday initiative.
This shot was taken right at the doorstep of Spain, still in Portugal... but a few meters away from border with Spain. The place is called Rio de Onor and it is a very small and interesting little village, since half of it belongs to Portugal... and the other half to Spain.
This small forest lies at the entrance of the village and it's used by locals to stretch their legs on their daily strolls. I was hoping to see a fox, a deer or some other wild life... but the day was hot and I think the animals were all sleeping. 😴
I rarely take photos against the sun, since that's one of the first advice I got when I had my first camera: "Never take a shot facing the sun, it will come out horribly!" - but I think this one came out really well, with all the sun rays being visible in the picture. 😎
