Despite the fact that Kyiv suffers from huge and uncomfortable buildings and the lack of normal communications, there are still huge areas for parks and gardens in it. The Botanical Garden named after Grishko is one of the good examples in the issue of city improvement. There is still plenty of room to be alone in a metropolis of more than 4 million. By smaller standards in the central part of the city, this opportunity can be regarded as a luxury, which it actually is.
Personally, I was most attracted by centuries-old trees and a stunning panorama of the Dnipro and the left bank of Kyiv.
