Subsistence farming can be sustaining and helpful for family and individuals. I have a peace of land in my residence that is wasting away so I decided to use it for subsistence agriculture. This is self-reliance. I love to be self-reliant. Maybe I can grow enough food to feed my family.
Subsistence agriculture is a self-sufficiency farming system in which the farmers focus on growing enough food to feed themselves and their entire families. The output is mostly for local requirements with little or no surplus trade.
Don't waste your piece of land use it for subsistence farming no matter how small. Every little helps.
