Original photo, no filter. Was hiking the trails in one of the downtown parks recently and the highlight of the day was finding these big blackberry bushes. I had brought a few snacks and a drink so I was good to go but it's always a nice surprise when you can just pick fruit of a bush or a tree for free.
I chose this shot here because it captures all three stages of the blackberry life cycle. Start out red and then matures and ripens thus turning it black, but if it's not picked and harvested at the proper time then they will rot on the vine, as you can see a few of them here did just that. That extra natural boost of energy is what it's all about.
