Here are three valuable traits I wish every human in the world had. I believe these traits would go a long way in making life beautiful for all of us.
Kindness
Kindness is a really important trait to have. I just wish everyone in the world would be kind.
Kindness makes the world better. If we everyone in the world showed kindness to their fellow human beings, I don't think there would be any need for wars. Acts of kindness just has a way of melting even the hardest hearts. No matter how wicked or hard hearted one might be, that person can make a change just because of kindness shown to him. Acts of kindness don't necessarily have to be big. Little acts of kindness, performed consistently, can make a big difference in the world.
When kindness is a part of who you are, things become easy for you. Doors easily open for you. Kindness make
our relationships with others become even more solid. Kindness makes it easy for people to like you. They would be willing to do things for you, to help you out and to be there for you. No friendship, or relationship can blossom if there is no kindness in it. Such a relationship is doomed.
Globally, kindness breeds and maintains world peace. If one nation is kind to another and always helps them out, comes to their aid, assist them and vice versa, there is lesser likelihood of a conflict between both nations. Kindness serves as a reminder of the good we have done and the good that was done to us. Hence, when conflict rears its head, we remember the acts of kindness as d resolve whatever conflict it is before it escalates.
Diligence
This is also a trait I believe everyone should have. Life is obviously not easy. Succeeding and becoming something meaningful in this life requires diligence
Being diligent makes one efficient.
When you work hard and right, you get things done. There won't be lesser challenges, which is why we have to be even more diligent.
If everyone was diligent, things would get done and the world would be a better place. On a personal basis, diligence helps us grow. When you work hard and put your effort into something, you become better at it and you achieve more. When people know that you are diligent, they pick you for jobs and tasks because they know that you will deliver. That's the kind of privilege diligence gives you.
The society benefits when diligence is a common thing. When government workers are diligent about their jobs, the nations gets better in different aspects. When environmental workers are diligent about their job, the environment becomes conducive and the society enjoys it. If those in charge of making financial policies for a nation are diligent, that nation gets better economically and the society benefits.
Honesty
An honest person is a reliable person. My dad always told me that one can never go wrong being honest. When one is honest, people trust that person. Honesty and trust go hand in hand. Honesty ensures smooth interpersonal relationships.
When you are honest with people you are close with, they appreciate you more, the trust you more and that relationship becomes stronger. The bond becomes tighter. Honesty sometimes is hard. Telling the truth can be difficult, but is necessary.
If everyone was honest, the world would be a much better place.
When you're honest, people respect you, people come to you to seek your opinion on issues. People believe what you say because they know you speak truth.
Conclusion
I chose those three traits because I think they would bring harmony to the world. We all want a society we can be happy and proud to be part of. Kindness, diligence and honesty can give us such a society.
