Hello Splinterfans, so I'm new to splinterlands and I'm excited to tell you about my first actual battle.
One of the main reasons I'm excited is that I won this battle. Since I joined splinterlands, I've been trying to acquaint myself with the game and learn the rules. I'm still learning and I know I have a lot to learn. However, I am excited.
Now, let's go into the battle.
For this battle, the mana cap was 45. I picked Tarsa as my summoner. I wanted to use a summoner of the fire element because I prioritized speed, so I went with Tarsa.
In my tank position was the Antoid Platoon. One of the major reason I chose it was because of its shield ability. At least, with that ability, melee and ranged attacks from my opponents were reduced by half. Furthermore, it had armor and enough health to withstand attacks to a reasonable extent. Even though it had a slow speed, it is capable of one melee attack and that was okay for me.
In the second position I chose the lava spider. One of the things that attracted me to this card is its health which is 4, so I know it could withstand multiple attacks before it gets killed. In addition, It has the snipe attribute, so that's a plus.
In the third position was the Scavo firebolt. This card has good health, moderate speed and is capable of ranged attacks.
In the fourth position, I chose the radiated brute. This melee attack card has the reach ability, but what really attracted me to it is its impressive health (5). With that, I know this card can withstand a good number of attacks.
In the fifth position, I chose the Djinn apprentice. What attracted me to this card is its magic attack ability.
In the last position was the Tenyii Striker. This is one of my best cards in this battle because it is a melee attack card; the health is superb; it has the sneak ability, making it able to attack the last unit of my opponent; and it has a reasonable speed.
You can tell by now that I love cards with good health stats.
My opponent used the earth summoner Underboss Fabino. In his first position, he put the Endless ape. In the second position, he put the Venari Knifer.
The Mycelic Morphoid occupied his third position, the Venari Scout occupied the fourth, he put the Hill Giant in the fifth position and the Goblin Psychic in the last position.
I must say, the battle was an interesting one. His tank, the Endless Ape had a huge life plus shields, so it was difficult to kill, but after so many attacks from my cards, it was taken out, followed by his other cards.
That's it for my battle. I was glad I won. It has given me more motivation to battle more. This is my beginning stage and I'm happy about the fact that there's so much in the world of splinterlands for me to explore.
