Food Sharing #103 - Redsalt Restaurant @ Hunter Valley, Australia

Hi Everyone,

I’ve reviewed many buffets but this one is slightly different as it is at the beautiful Hunter Valley inside the Crowne Plaza hotel. We were there to celebrate a birthday and though that a buffet would be good so everyone can choose whatever they want to eat. There is no menu as it is a buffet but let’s see what there is to eat. Don’t start drooling …. Let’s start with the seafood. Some of the seafood is mixed with he salad area which I thought was not a bad layout so people can get some greens at the same time.

Thera are also lots of salads and cold plates which we love so much. They were all very fresh and the variety was just awesome.

And don’t forget the sushi and sashimi. It was so fresh but I didn’t have the sushi as it would fill me up too quickly.

There was also a really nice cheese and cracker platter. Great variety

Lastly, how can we forget dessert. There was a very nice fruit platter which came later so we didn’t get up getting a picture for that.

The food overall was very nice with lots of variety and the service was above average. It is $79 pp for adults and kids are cheaper depending what age they are. Price does not include drinks which would maybe set you back another $10 depending what you order. There are plenty of seatings and was very kids friendly. Remember to book as when we went, the place was fully of people.
