I know that people who live in the North would laugh with us saying that it snowed when they are covered in snow for months and we barely got covered by a few centimeters for a day or two... But everything is relevant and if you haven't seen snow for years, you get excited even with this little snow that surprised us three days ago.
We went out just a while after it started, but they were others quicker than us.
And of course the kids of the village were already out. We were targeted immediately and snowballs starting coming from everywhere. Luckily a dad asked them not to shoot the dog... Unluckily no one asked them not to shot us.
This is how Markos ended up, and we were so much worse... At least kids had a lot of fun.
It was late in the afternoon, the sky was heavy, but we were determined to follow our daily route. We started but went back after a while. I did take some pictures though.
Looking on the West, the sun was setting.
Do you remember the mountains with caps from previous Wednesday? Here is how they look covered with snow.
It is so cold! The air coming from the mountains is so clean and refreshing, makes me feel alive!
The snow has now melted in the nearby mountains. And today in the early morning walk we could see what was left...
In our path what is left is holes with water.
Someone already misses the snow! The first one in his 4 years life. But it is still somewhere in the background.
It is still very cold. Everyone is looking for a nook. This beauty is a wild cat. She is very good with people, but she prefers to wonder around at the nearby olive groves than being in the village.
This is my entry for the #wednesdaywalk challenge by @tattoodjay.
