Last February 29, my family and I went to Donsol, Sorsogon in the Philippines for my parents' wedding anniversary. You read that right, my parents were married on a leap year. They were married in 1992 but they celebrated their 8th anniversary just a week ago.
The resort we went to is called Woodland Beach Resort. It had a small swimming pool and a beautiful beach front. What made the concept ideal is that if you get bored in the pool, the sea is just a few steps away.
The beach front also had these long chairs perfect for relaxing while watching the West Philippine Sea. I was not able to see any whale sharks as they are very shy but the view was still perfect.
