Despite repeatedly crashing and damaging the high-speed vintage car, I enjoyed driving to the lookout to meet Tino. Instead, I met Fede and Carlo, who briefed me on scouting Ludovico's villa.
At sunset, Tino arrived, instructed Ezio to infiltrate alone, and I successfully picked a side gate's lock.
I stepped into the high-speed car and began the long drive outside the villa grounds to meet Tino at the designated lookout point.
The vehicle lived up to its reputation as a absolute speed beast, accelerating past 100 miles per hour with incredible handling and responsive drifting capabilities.
Although the option to skip the drive was available, I preferred to pilot the car myself to experience its performance. My reckless driving habits took a heavy toll on the vehicle, resulting in several collisions along the winding road.
Despite using the reliable braking system, the front end sustained severe damage, eventually sending dark smoke pouring out from under the hood.
I continued pushing forward, hoping the battered vintage engine would hold together without exploding before reaching the destination.
After navigating the long route, I finally arrived at the lookout and parked the smoking vehicle.
I walked up to the contact, assuming it was Tino, but found a man named Fede waiting instead. When questioned about my presence, Ezio replied that Luca sent him.
Joined by Carlo, they monitored Ludovico's villa from the high ground, noting that Ludovico was currently away while discussing loans provided by Spataro.
Ezio asked about Tino's whereabouts, and the men replied that Tino would return later, advising Ezio to rest and get comfortable until sunset.
The scene transitioned into the evening as darkness fell over the valley. Ludovico drove back into his estate, and Tino arrived shortly after to confirm that the operation was ready to begin.
Tino delivered a final briefing, instructing Ezio to infiltrate the compound and capture Ludovico alive before bringing him to the nearby ruins. Ezio expressed surprise upon learning he had to execute the entire extraction alone.
Advancing toward the property, I avoided the heavily guarded main entrance and scouted the perimeter for an alternate way inside. And I located a secluded side gate guarded by a single patrolman.
I waited patiently until the guard turned his back and walked away, creating a clear opening for me. I moved up silently, picked the lock on the gate, and slipped inside undetected.
To be continued.
