Hi, my dear friends!
Last time I promised you to show you another lake not far from my house. And I was already on my way there. But already on the way, I realized that today I needed a quieter and more secluded place. And I turned to the old pond, but to another part of the location, not where we were with you last time.
My decision and my desire for silence and solitude have very serious reasons today and I hope that you will understand me. Last night we learned that another one of our friends is going to the first front line. This news just hit me. I woke up this morning with the feeling that I had a bad hangover. Do you know that feeling when you realize that nothing can be changed? When do you realize that you may never see each other again? I wish you never know this.
I really needed privacy. And I needed to leave the house at least for a while in order to put my thoughts and feelings in order. I believe in the healing power of nature, which is especially strong in places where there are bodies of water. After all, it is no coincidence that magical properties have always been attributed to water. The power of water is a great force of both destruction and creation.
I wanted to forget. I wanted to digress for a moment from the fact of the fragility and unreliability of the reality around us. Today was my usual morning. But the usual thing was that the first thing I wrote to the children was to find out if they were alive because at night terrorist Russia fired at our cities again. This is my ordinary life, this is my reality! To hell with this reality!
I walked slowly around the pond, looking at the water and taking pictures of the reflections. I thought about how with reflections it's always hard to know where reality really is. And they are so fragile.
I hope you enjoy the photos I took. No matter what happens on our earth, but nature always remains delightfully beautiful.
