Hi, my dear friends!
Today I finally fulfilled the promise I made to you the Wednesday before last to show another lake not far from my house (6 km). Sometimes I come here with my dogs to walk so they can swim on a hot day. Today I took a Mouse with me.
Mouse was happy with the luck that came to her. She loves to travel! And of course, she loves to be in nature. As soon as she jumped out of the car Oh! Fresh grass!
Wait, Mouse, you're a dog, not a goat!
What's the difference, Mom? It's delicious!
Why do I like this place? I also come here when I need to get a typical rural landscape. I really like how everything is arranged here.
The village is located on one side of the lake. On the other side, there is nothing but a dirt road and thickets of trees.
This place is loved by fishermen (today we met two) and people like me who need to let their dogs swim.
Even in the hottest weather, you will not meet many people here who would like to swim here. The shores and the bottom are completely unsuitable for this. Plus, there are a lot of frogs! But dogs don't care about all these inconveniences at all! They are happy to splash in the water. What Mouse, by the way, did! That is, the result of the trip was that now I have to wash the car because wet Mouse climbed into it! 🫣
I took some photos of the opposite shore to show what typical households look like. You can see a row of houses and quite large tracts of land down to the water. These areas are used for planting vegetables. Usually, there is no fence between them. This is accepted and besides this, it is a matter of convenience, because neighbors often hire a tractor that digs up all the plots at the same time.
Having reached the end of the lake, Mouse and I return back. I noticed that many trees are covered with mistletoe. Usually, it looks quite impressive - green balls seem to grow on the trees. But unfortunately, this is very bad for the tree itself. Mistletoe is a parasitic plant that can kill the tree it grows on.
And here we are going home. I also made a short video. Here you can clearly see how it is customary in the villages of our region to equip the facade of the house. Usually, this is a high deaf fence or gate. By their appearance, you can draw a conclusion about the financial situation of people who live in a particular house. But whatever the financial situation, it is customary to keep the space in front of the gate and the front part of the fence clean and tidy. Those who can afford it make flower beds, the rest just sweep and mow the excess grass.
