Hi, my dear friends!
Less than ten days until Christmas and less than two weeks until the new year. It's just unbelievable! Just a little more and I'm ready to believe that our planet is spinning faster! Although if I'm wrong, it's slower. I don't know. For me, time flies faster than ever.
How right is it to summarise the week? Well, that's for everyone. For me it's important because it's a way to realise what I've managed to do and that another week was not wasted. In the hustle and bustle of working days I sometimes just don't have time to realise what I have done, I don't have time to live some moments, so I come back to it every Sunday. It is a kind of psychotherapy for me.
This week was quite productive in terms of work. I finished as many as three projects! One of them was finalised, the other two will have a continuation. In today's crisis, that's pretty good. Minus one project means I'll be spending more time on animals and my blog. To be honest, this past week, although successful, was also very stressful. I was experiencing a severe lack of time. But now I'm thinking about future plans and promising myself to plan my time more wisely.
The biggest event of the week was the arrival of a new puppy at my friend's house. It is a tiny chihuahua. She did not dare to take this step for a long time, but finally yesterday we went to Kiev and brought home a tiny lump of life. My friend definitely needs a puppy. Her boyfriend is at war right now and she is under a huge amount of stress all the time. If I were to theorise to you about the daily fear for your loved ones when you don't know if they are alive, you still wouldn't understand. Believe me. Before the war I also thought I understood how people felt in such a situation, but only now, having gone through it myself, having experienced those moments when I called my children just to find out if they were alive or not, only now I understand what it means. And you know what, it's a very good thing you won't understand me, I don't wish that experience on anyone!
Therefore.... is why my friend needed a puppy, because there is no creature more positive. Caring for this little one will fill her life with the positives she so desperately needs. I puppy (it's a girl) will get the most caring mum imaginable, because my friend loves animals and knows how to take care of them.
Next week we're looking forward to Yule, one of the festivals of the Wheel of the Year. I will definitely do a separate post about it, we will talk a bit about the holiday itself and what energies of nature it involves. So I look forward to visiting you on my blog.
