Here comes the summer. What does that mean? That means it's time to clean the aquariums.
I love aquariums. They look great in the interior of my house and you can always get a few minutes of relaxation watching the fish.
But cleaning aquariums... Oh, yes! This event has never ended successfully for me. Every time I somehow magically pour half the water onto the floor!
But in this world, everything has its price. If you want to have a beautiful aquarium - clean it!
Since I have several aquariums, this is a whole ritual. Vedt cannot be simply taken, poured out water, washed glass and poured clean water. Of course, if you're willing to risk your fish, you can. But for some reason I don't want to. I love my fish. After all, I've known them for quite some time and I don't want bleach to damage them at all.
Therefore, changing the water in all my aquariums can take a couple of weeks.
First, I prepare a backup tank where I move fish and reptiles while I clean. The water in such an aquarium should also stand for several days.
Then I replace the inhabitants of one of the aquariums there, clean their aquarium, collect clean water and leave it for several days. Then all the fish and reptiles return to their aquarium and the whole cycle repeats again with the next aquarium.
Fortunately, I only do all this once a year, in the summer. The rest of the time I just change the water partially and clean the filters.
