My first Steemit meet-up.

Hi. I'm a student of the university of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Steemit was introduced to me and most of the students of the institution by @bhoa, a colleague of mine.

In the heat of the moment, we decided to have a little picnic, that way, we wld meet more people... so I was definitely down, a chance to meet more ladies? Count me in.

It was amazing! Everyone who came brought something with them. Some brought fruits, drinks, someone made pepper soup 😌... some girls baked cakes and it was delicious! There was so much food I thought it was the day I wld get fat. 😁

Since @bhoa initiated the community, we look up to him for direction on steemit, and he's really doing a great job. At the meet-up, he came up with various policies and ways to build a stronger community for our good.

There, he came up with his idea of creating the community @steem9ja. An account that would be powerful and influential on steemit in large. I'm looking forward to that.

We also publicized steemit on campus, cos apparently, not so many people are aware of it. After which we went our different ways.

I remember how excited we all were after d meet-up, later that evening, we, the organizing squad 😎 decided to take ourselves out for pizza and shawarma... I still didn't get fat that day 😆.

I'm totally looking forward to more meet-ups on steemit! Big shout out to @surpassinggoogle for the opportunity to share.
