First impressions matter a lot, even though it doesn't reveal someone's colour in some cases. There are situations where we find ourselves, where we meet someone once and never get to meet them again, and the impression they gave of us stays with us forever. There are situations where we meet someone for the first time, they give us a weird and wild impression, and when we want to take that as the way they are, they completely change and give us a good look to reveal their true calm personality in subsequent meetings. So first impressions can be two ways; it all depends on the situation and the kind of people. But oftentimes, the impression we receive at first, especially the bad impression, stays with us in our hearts even when the person exhibits calmer and better vibes later on.
When I recently resumed school, I met different kinds of people, people who gave me different first impressions that made me assume and settle on who they are. There was one, a very chubby guy who acted so bossy, like he was the second in command in the whole school. The first week I resumed school, we were made to write a test, and he was told by the lecturer to collect the answer booklets from us(students) when the time was up.

This guy was so arrogant in the manner in which he collected the booklets. I had already concluded that he was the course rep or someone higher than that. Ever since then, I just took the guy as an arrogant guy who feels he's above everyone.
But later on, this once arrogant guy became the coolest guy who relates with everyone very well. He was popular and had good rapport with lectures but he was never the person who felt he was bigger than everyone. With his very sociable characteristics, he related with everyone and didn't move with only the high-profile students.
