Hello everyone, in this blog i wanted to share my experiences in my study of human medicine. Every student know this. You just started studying medicine and you´re just overwhelmed by all the things you have to learn. One important part of the preclinical section is the course of macroscopic anatomy, where you have to prepare body donor by yourself and by doing so, learning the whole anatomy.
At the end you will have a great exam. I had tried many things in the preparation for this exam like learning cards, anatomy books, self written flashcards and so on.
Two weeks before my exam a fellow student gave me the advice, to look a specific Youtube channel. I am so excited about this great videos that i want to share it with you.
I am a german student and the videos are in english but for the most students it shouldn´t be a problem.
The videos are founded by the Jewish Hospital Foundation and cover up the whole human anatomy in six videos, each of it around two and a half hours. The narrator explains the anatomy in many different specimens and from many angles, picks up the important things to know about the embryology and summs up every single small part to repeat the things you just heard.
From my experience i can tell you that this videos are very effective if you are watching them concentrated. I have seen each video twice and my exam works very fine, especially if you are an optic learner. If you have the same troubles i had, just give this videos a try, they are really good.
