You know, after 17 years of being affiliated with RACC (Automobile Assistance Insurance), today was the first time I've had to use their service...
It's funny, just yesterday I was wondering if it wouldn't make more sense to avoid paying the annual fee for this service if I'd NEVER used it...
Just TODAY I needed it...
Today I went to the office on my motorcycle. It was a little strange because it took me a while to start the engine this morning, but after a couple of tries, the motorcycle started as usual.
However, at noon, I wanted to take the motorcycle to the running club, which is 1 km away from my office... the battery was dead, and no matter how hard I pressed the start button, there was no way to turn the motorcycle on.
The bummer is that I have my motorcycle parked on the second floor of the private parking lot of the building where I work... so, for once in my life, I used the service...

I met up with the assistant towards the end of the workday since I had a shitty day in terms of meetings planned... we'll see how things go, maybe it's time to decide whether to continue with the service or save the money on the next installment...
At least, I'm happy that I didn't cancel the payment at the time and that I was able to use it now.
You never know when shit hits, but eventually it does, and you have to be prepared for that, although I don't know if it was worth paying all these years for so little (LoL).
