Today, our lives are developing at a fast pace. To the point that everything happens to do and arrive in a hurry, also to solve our personal affairs and work, often arising friction with people that we might avoid.

What happens is that everything we want has to be immediate, causing our daily life is not sensible and one is less kind to others. That is so, that we are all immersed in a time called "haste." Here we must pause and think a little about the value of patience, since we will feel more and more upset with that career that we carry, and that is our own life, and that is unique.

We can define patience as the value that makes us as people: tolerate, understand, suffer and endure setbacks and warnings with strength and therefore no regrets; This is possible because one learns to act according to each circumstance, moderating words and behavior in those moments.

Similarly we should not confuse what is called indifference and insensitivity with attitudes of patience. This always happens when we meet people who in our opinion are annoying and annoying, and we hear pretending to have a patient attitude and what we are looking for is to escape from that situation as quickly as possible. And obviously trying not to notice, not to hurt their feelings.

On the other hand, not stopping to consider the real possibilities of success, time and effort needed to reach a certain end, is the main obstacle to the development of this value and is called impatience. Such is the case, that one must moderate oneself and understand of one's scope in order to avoid being burdened with too many compromises that may possibly not be made.

For example, saving can be a way of measuring our patience, but if we take our goal out of sight, our goal will become increasingly unreachable and distant. Or the patience to educate our children, since they are more mischievous than one is often expected, but the real challenge is to have the ability to educate them tolerantly and in the best way possible.

However, we could say that the fact of enduring and tolerating the most unexpected setbacks, are also challenges, although of less importance but that make the development of patience. Such is the case of coping with inclement weather, being understanding in the accomplishment of tasks together with other people, in the absence of their experiences, knowledge to perform effectively, among others. If we obsess in any of them, the result may be totally the opposite of what is desired, so it is recommended to be patient, since it teaches us the way in which we should do things.

Remember, we must have a good predisposition to go to those places where you are always lost for time, because this can unnecessarily displease us. Another issue is not showing impatience and do things reluctantly, before the request for favors. Before this it is recommended that this activity be counted as fixed, within our time and chores, since that way it will be possible to perform it in a pleasant way.

Spontaneous reactions do not have a precise purpose, so it is recommended to take time to listen, reason and at the most appropriate time to act or give the most accurate opinion to the circumstance. If we forget this, we will be despaired.

But what are the real stimuli we gain from being patient? The truth is that they are multiple, from the maintenance and relational improvement with our partner, children and co-workers; To the most enduring friendships.

Thus the person who lives patiently, manages to better understand the nature of events, creating peace and harmony around them. That is to say, that it has the sensitivity to face all those contrarieties while maintaining calmness and, therefore, its inner balance.

It is so, that once a difficulty is known or perceived that must be overcome or some desired good that it takes to arrive, we will endure the present annoyances with serenity. And it will help us to moderate the excesses of sadness and to calmly wait for the desired good.
