This time last year I have a business plan for animal husbandry precisely goat keeping ,have been into agriculture for some years and after the Raining 🌧️ season is going to an end I see the need to have another plan to diversify into another aspect of agriculture which is goat keeping,
Last year I bought 3 goats 🐐 2feamale and a male making a total of 3goats i constructed a conducive shelter for them and make the environment neat but at the end I lost two of the goats 🐐 to disease and am left with just one I was so discourage and decided to abandoned the business for some time and return to my arable farming but now I see need for diversification as the season of raining is going gradually
So I decided to revisit my abandoned goat 🐐 project to start all over again however some things have been put in place the first time I try to do the business ,the goad house ,i already have one female goat 🐐 I also have some drugs on ground and the house is neat and conducive for some new set of goats 🐐
I already bought two new feamale goat a brow and a white one but of different species the brown one is a specie from the northern side of Nigeria and the second one is from the south west specie
Majorly we do have this two common species of goat 🐐 here in Nigeria
And they are very good breads
In total I now have 3goats in my cage which I believe am good to go but before the year runs out I will have to get 2more male 🐏 goat to make it 5 in total so that the will be able to reproduce .
It usually take about 5 to 6month for female goats to mature depending on the body size and weight but for make goat 🐐 the maturity stage varies from 8 to 10 months
Goat farming is very profitable and easy to start because it requires little capital with proper planing and management it is very easy to start with lesser investment which can contribute to your daily income
Good healthy breads is very important and essential in goat farming business because If the bread you are buying are not healthy or good breed's it will affect your futuristic plans and it will definitely affect the productive of the goats
Also the health aspect is very important one need to take good care of the goats an expert advice will go a long way

Goad farming is a very lucrative business which is very easy to start but the most important thing is that one must not be lazy have time for the goats feed them well also make alot of reserch and seek for professional advice and you will be good to go
