Of course I knew that this tower is the landmark of Paris. I also had somewhere in the back of my mind that about 100 years ago this building was once the tallest building in the world. Nevertheless, I had completely misjudged this sheer size and had not expected it to such an massiv building. Above all, the fact that the Eiffel Tower is practically isolated in a park and not surrounded by other tall buildings drastically supports this look even more. It was pure coincidence that me and @moreaboutmarina went to this lookout point. We were really hungry and looking desperately for food. Luckily, it enabled me to take a photo illustrating this impressive size of the tower. It really is worth it to take a look at the Eiffel Tower.

Selbstverständlich wusste ich dass dieser Turm das Wahrzeichen von Paris ist. Genauso hatte ich im Hinterkopf das ungefähr vor 100 Jahren dieses Gebäude einmal das höchste Bauwerk der Welt war. Trotzdem hatte ich diese schirre Größe völlig falsch eingeschätzt und nicht in solch einem Ausmaß erwartet. Vor allem die Tatsache dass der Eifelturm in einem Park quasi frei steht, nicht umringt von anderen hohen Bauwerken unterstützt diesen Look nochmals drastisch. Es war purer Zufall das ich und @moreaboutmarina auf diesen Aussichtspunkt gegangen sind. Wir waren hungrig und auf der Suche nach Futter. Doch es ermöglichte perfekt ein Foto zu machen, welche diese imposante Größte illustriert. Es zahlt sich tatsächlich aus sich den Eiffelturm mal anzusehen.
