Today we moved around 1000 more sleeping bags plus some flash lights and matresses from the storage south of Warszawa to another storage. That's all, more or less. We were half an hour too late to the other storage, a truck heading for Ukraine had just left when we arrived. I'm a bit disappointed, we could have been working more efficient. Quite much time was lost as we first considered that we didn't need to bring flashlights, then got told that flashlights were needed just when the truck was completely filled up by sleeping bags. The weather was nice at least, working topless for the first day of the year.
The idea of purchasing a minibus is dead - not enough refugees left, and the driver has managed to raise enough money for an offroader so he can get closer to the front line. Anyway, Jaroslaw has managed to source a really cheap caravelle with nine seats - though we haven't picked it up yet.
Some accounting ... donations (income):
78 kNOK cash exchanged into 37128 PLN, and 1 kNOK in the bank.
Since we're not going to buy a minibus, we can only spend 13328 of the cash without asking for permission from the donator to spend more.
Money spent (costs):
We have too many missions for tomorrow:
We have to work a lot more efficient tomorrow than today if we are to manage even half of that.
