Come walk with me as we travel through the many paintings ๐Ÿ˜Ž

---Start This Journey Here---

Their home was a beautiful country house sitting in the midst of trees, bushes and flowers as far as the eye could see. A table with some tea and pastry stood in the half shade with Annie's little niece sitting there playing beside it. I could not deny that I felt a bit thirsty and hungry as well and I looked forward to getting to know my new found friend and her family a bit better.........

I suddenly felt very cold. My breath froze in the air and I could see it traveling a short distance before finally dissolving into nothing. Whiteness blinded me and it took a while to realize that I was standing in a deserted snow covered field in the middle of nowhere. Confused I took some steps in this foreign world only to see my tracks getting covered in the drifting snow. There was no one around except for some crows aflight in the sky.

Was this real? Where was I? The world felt strange and unknown. And I felt as I had lost my bearings. In the distance some black spots stood out against the knee high snow that I was still struggling to get out of. Three black spots - they were people walking towards what seemed like a small village. I began to run towards them, but every step felt like I was getting dragged deeper into the snow.

I screamed and waived my hands; I needed help. But the cold wind carried away my words into nothingness. It was futile to fight against the elements and so I did the best I could in dragging my body further ahead. My fingers and toes started to burn from the searing cold and my face was becoming numb and senseless. But I carried on.

I was getting closer, or at least that was what I was telling myself. It was hard to judge the distances here where everything was covered in snow. After perhaps as much as an hour I must have been finally within hearing range for two of the three people turned around when I called for help again. Cold faces stared back at me. Although I could not discern their expressions it felt good to see people again. But something didn't feel quite right.

The man, that man on the left seemed very strange. His eyes. Unbelievably cold and dark. His nose blue with frost. His lean and almost weightless long body; the wind was surely about to sweep him away. It felt as though he couldn't be alive! I immediately stopped in my tracks, my body revolting to go any further, the call for help clumped up in my throat. I didn't want to get help from this MAN!
