If you aren't familiar with fractal analysis (the main method I am using), have a look here when we applied it to bitcoin or Hive.
Ethereum seems like a very easy token to forecast if we look at its historic chart:
I have highlighted the important parts in orange. Can you spot the similarities? Our main hypothesis is that the fractal in 2017 will roughly (!) predict the price movement in 2020 and beyond. To have a reasonable high degree of confidence one has to be somewhat certain at what part of the reoccurring pattern the market is currently in. This confidence mainly comes from the two triangles (marked in blue) of which price broke out in about August of this year. Similarly, it happened at around January of 2017. This means we should be on the same path.
As you can see I drew two channels in the chart (within the ovals). These are the upward and downward boundaries in which I think price will be moving.
In a closeup, you can see this rough price movement the coin did (marked in black):
Now let's have a look at the current time period:
As you can see I drew in the same pattern and it fits very well. This, I believe, is the main predictive pattern. If this is correct, price could until the end of 2020 remain rather stagnant or fall back to the 510$ level. After that price should increase dramatically to about a 1000$ (whenever it hits the top trend line) and then correct itself to about the 700$ range. This information is all en captured in the past fractal.
What do you think? :)
