The weekend has passed, this was actually my first one on campus and I must say that weekends at home hits differently. For that matter, I found this weekend less exciting because at school, there isn’t much to do unless watching football games. When I’m in school, it’s always a lazy weekend for me,there isn’t much going on over here on campus unless you wish to go further outside and that’s where you can find a lot fun stuff to do.
I love Saturdays a lot and this is because most of the football matches are played on Saturday, so even if you’re bored and you don’t have anything to do the football games can keep you busy a little. Through out the day, we watched different football matches from noon till it was getting late in the evening.
In the evening what bothers my mind most is deciding what to eat. So i prepared some rice and we ate with stew, since the stew was already prepared earlier on. My roommate was actually feeling lazy to cook. Then after eating I decided to watch some movies on my roommate’s laptop. There was a lot of movies on there and I was actually surprised I haven’t watched all these movies. So I just decided to go with ‘Black Adam’. The movie was actually a great one and I would recommend anyone who hasn’t seen it to go watch it.
Later on in the evening, I remembered I had some tutorials on programming I was going to watch and practice. It was actually on python programming language, these YouTubers are really doing a great job with the tutorials. I learned a lot from the video than I had even learned in class lol. It was getting late and my brain was getting tired, so I had to get some sleep.
On Sunday I woke very refreshed and ready to again with my lazy weekend but then I was well aware my team was playing, Manchester United. I simply couldn’t wait any longer for that match against Leeds United after the draw on the previous Wednesday. At 2 pm, the match had started and I was sitting, supporting my team. I never miss my teams football match, especially when it’s weekends. After our match, I was getting hungry and so I went to buy some food with one of my friends because I was tired already and couldn’t cook.
In the evening, I looked at my timetable for Monday and saw that I had an assignment I had to present. So I quickly went through my work of which I was already working on. I just had to make some corrections and save my work.
When I was done with the work, I went back to my mobile phone and played a few games of ‘Call of Duty’. I usually don’t play match because after a few games, I get bored especially when I’m not paired with hard core players lol. So I finished with that and also took some time to browse through hive, just to see what’s going on here before going to bed.
Monday’s are very packed on the timetable, several lectures after another and so I was very tired. That’s why I couldn’t write about my weekend experience and decided to write on it today.
