UBUD COFFEE, PEKALONGAN

If someone asked me, when did I start liking coffee? I don't have an answer for exactly when. But, when they ask about what kind of coffee I like the most? Gayo Arabica is the answer. Although not every time I go to a coffee shop I order Gayo on the grounds that not all coffee shops provide gayo arabica. Luckily for me, after a few months of not drinking Gayo coffee, today I stumbled upon a coffee shop attached to a restaurant in downtown Pekalongan, and found Gayo arabica on the menu.

Once I looked at the menu and found Gayo, I was very excited to order it, at first the barista also offered me Mandailing which was just as good, but, once Gayo is Gayo. I was going to enjoy Gayo that afternoon! LOL.

This Ubud coffee shop is located on HA Salim street no.80 and can be visited until 10.00pm. However, when you want to visit this coffee shop, it's easier to access the famous Teras Bali restaurant. Why? Yes, because Ubud Coffee is part of the Teras Bali restaurant. Although the name tends to contain Balinese elements, there is no special design in the coffee shop. However, when asking a little to the barista, apparently the Balinese nuances or concepts are actually found on the inside of the restaurant. In addition to the design, the menus served are also Balinese concept.

Besides coffee, Ubud Coffee also serves various cakes. However, that afternoon I really only wanted to enjoy coffee. As usual, I was not alone. I had my bestie here with me. While waiting for our order to arrive, we talked about many things, especially about the Coldplay concert that was held for the first time in Indonesia. My garden was very struggling to join the Coldplay concert ticket war but failed to get it. It was here, in the middle of waiting for our coffee, that my friend let out his disappointment. He hoped that his favorite band could come to Indonesia next time. About ten minutes later, two glasses of iced coffee were served at our table. Me with Arbica Gayo aeropress, and Zaza with Iced Latte Macchiato.

beautiful bottle filled with fragrant gayo and beside it was a small glass filled with ice cubes. I inhaled the fragrant aroma of Gayo coffee that I missed so much. I slowly savored the arabica flavor. The price of this aeropress Gayo Arabica is IDR 27,000.

I could have called my friend miss Latte. She loves latte so much. This time too. My friend said, his coffee is good too. A balanced blend of coffee and milk. His also served liquid sugar in a separate small container. For the price of Iced latte Macchiato is IDR 25,000. We continued to enjoy the coffee slowly while talking about other topics. It could be about mental health, or even Korean dramas. Incidentally, we are both binge watchers of the drama we are looking forward to. Next time I might also want to visit back here, but it's my turn to eat at the restaurant which is said to be always crowded.
