Hello, Food lovers, back again with a blog about food from me.
This time I want to talk about street food from Sundanese land. This is one of my favorite meals since I was in school.
BATAGOR
Many say that batagor comes from Sundanese, more specifically the city of Bandung. This dish made from mackerel fish dough stuffed with tofu and dumpling skin is very delicious smothered in a very thick peanut sauce.
Usually, batagor sellers use wheelbarrows and move around from one place to another that is crowded. The seller will stop at a school or market.
If batagor is generally served dry without gravy, as time goes by, many people start to produce batagor with gravy. One of them I bought in the marketplace with the K.YL or Yummylicious brand.
K.YL is an online shop that provides instant food such as: seblak, and Batagor gravy.
Besides experiencing an increase in the variety of dry and gravy servings, Batagor from K.YL also provides additional content of batagor. Besides dumplings and tofu, mini pilus called cikur, and cuanki tongue. In the packaging there is also onion powder, onion oil, and chili sauce for seasoning.
HOW TO COOK IT?
It's very easy to make this instant food ready to eat. The method of manufacture is listed on the back of the packaging, including:
- Prepare a pot, turn on the heat on the stove, and pour 400 ml of water into the pan. Mask until boiling,
- After boiling, enter all the components in the package in sequence, starting from: dry dumplings, dry tofu, and beef meatballs. Each was given a two-minute pause when going to enter ingredient by ingredient,
- after all the ingredients are cooked and the water for boiling has begun to recede, pour it into a bowl that has been filled with spices.
- stir until blended, and batagor gravy is ready to be enjoyed!
HOW DOES IT FEEL?
This is the first time I have eaten this type of B atagor from the K.YL brand.
I think this is a bit strange. Maybe because batagor usually tastes identical to peanut sauce, this time the taste is almost similar to baso cuannki.
The beef meatballs are good, and the seasoning is good, but I don't feel like I'm eating Batagor. LOL
If I had to compare the gravy batagor and the dry batagor, I would definitely choose the dry batagor. I like the crunchy sensation when I eat dumplings filled with fish dough.
Okay. I'm done with the Tits-style meal review today. next time look forward to my blog and don't be bored, guys!
See you on the next blog!
