So, twenty days ago, I came across this introduction post, by a self-professed wallflower.
Speedy lent me the use of this photo, since both posts didn't have images.
Introductions are not my strong point. If left alone at a party I am “The” wallflower. That is if I do decide to even leave the house. Nevertheless I shall write one and perhaps find people like me.
Well, I may not be a wallflower like @hispeedimagins (I know. That is very, very hard to imagine.) But I do remember how long it took me to gather the courage to become my non-wallflowery self.
When I read on and saw that Speedy (I just nicknamed you, @hispeedimagins. Is that OK?) also loved writing, well, I was sold.
I have always loved to write stories/songs
When I read on, I saw yet another familiar feeling.
It is difficult for someone like me to share my writing creations with others something which I want to do and at the same time I do not. A dilemma I have been torn between.
I remember feeling like that not too long ago. I don't think I'll ever be able to forget. Then, Speedy wrote something that gave me an Aha-erlebnis. An epiphany if you will.
I hope to make some friends here, so I can pass it on as social interaction to my brain and live in denial.(hahahha)
Don't we all want to live in denial? I know I do. So I decided to do my best to grant Speedy's wish, by writing up an IANS post. Only... Me being the chaotic creature that I am, I sort of... Well... Lost track of time? (Oops...)
Speedy's introduction post has since expired, but I sincerely hope you will have a look at this more recent post, and show it, and Speedy, some much deserved love.
As is customary in this tradition started by @gmuxx, the SBD payout of this post is pledged to
@hispeedimagins.
You, sweetie, are a treasure. I couldn't be happier that you found our way over to us at The Writers' Block and I wish you the best of luck on Steemit.
Hugs
Tiny.
