Yesterday afternoon my friend Isabel called me to invite me to a snack with sweet bread and (according to her) a delicious coffee with milk.
The first thing she said to me was: "Friend, I am very sorry for bringing you from Colombia that coffee (Viejo Molino) that was not to your liking" so I want to vindicate myself with you by inviting you to my house to drink a much tastier one that I also bought in Colombia, it is called "Colcafé Clásico".
I really felt embarrassed and intimidated with that comment and I answered: "no girl, the truth is that I already like its taste, it is the one I am drinking these days, it is a matter of habit, what happens is that at the beginning I thought it was a little strong". (I didn't even know what to say), since I know that she brought me that coffee with a lot of love and sacrifice, I imagine that it was the cheapest she found in the market where she was, since they don't have many economic resources. (Now I regret having confessed my displeasure with that coffee, but well, what's done is done).
I explained about the "Old Mill" coffee in my previous publication.
She smiled at my response and invited me into her house.
She already had the table set with three place settings, one for me, one for her husband and one for herself.
She blended the milk in the blender, poured it into three large bowls and added a teaspoon of Colcafé instant coffee to each one, stirred it well, and then added a small amount of Colcafé instant coffee, stirred it well
and took it to the table, there he also placed a container with sugar for me to add to my coffee to my liking, they drink it without sugar.
Both the coffee and the sweet breads were very tasty, but I am not particularly fond of instant coffee, and that one seemed a little simple for my taste, I like coffee that tastes like coffee, that is to say a little stronger, but I did not even think of saying anything about it, I told them that it was exquisite, I did not want to hurt my friend's feelings again.
I am only telling this to you who are my coffee confidants, hahaha.
We tasted that nice snack and stayed at the table for a while talking about their 6 month trip to Bogota/Colombia, where they lived pleasant and not so pleasant moments.
Then I said goodbye and went to my apartment, which is right across the street from theirs.I was so full that the snack served as dinner, and I didn't eat anything else until the next day.
So far, my dear readers who pass through this beautiful and pleasant Community, with one more experience of my adored and delicious coffee.
We will see you again very soon. Wish you all a nice day.
