You would think that living relatively close to the beach, a 30 minute drive away, I would be head first into sunbathing and enjoying life every weekend, but no, that's not so!

Many times I have discovered to my amazement that for over a year I have not been to the beach. That my friends is crazy, when I know the benefits of the sun, the sea salt and how relaxing it is to be carried away by the pleasant swaying of the waves. Well, I think I'm a little strange hahaha, I like the beach, but I'm too lazy to travel for 30 minutes to the central coast, here very close to Caracas, Venezuela.

And with amazement I am going to tell you what has happened to me in the last two weekends! .... Yessssssss, I have gone to the beach two weekends in a row. Sand, beach and sun ... in the sea life is tastier!

The Saturday before last I woke up early because of a phone call from my brother. What happened to him, I thought. It is not normal for him to call at this hour. After answering the phone and the obligatory greetings, he said "we are going to the beach, do you want to come? ... You can imagine my answer, who can refuse such a magnificent invitation.

An hour later I was picked up at my apartment and we went straight to the Marina Grande Spa. I spent a wonderful day in the company of my nephews, brother and sister-in-law. The place is very nice, as it has parking, awnings, chairs, showers and bathrooms. I found it strange, it has a park for children that nobody uses. Can you tell me what kid is going to play in a park when it has a beach all to himself!

My brother and sister-in-law went "stocked up" hahaha I mean, they brought all kinds of food, so I ate extra. The beach is very quiet, ideal for children, and for those like me who can't swim. So getting into the water and letting yourself go with the waves was extremely relaxing.

The following Saturday, that is, this weekend that just ended, I went to the beach again, but this time with a biodance group. You may be wondering at this point what biodance is, so I'll write down verbatim what I found on the web Health Keeper.

"Biodance is a type of active and group meditation, which allows us to connect with our purest essence, free ourselves from tensions and improve our emotional health. It is called 'the dance of life' and its mission is none other than to give us back the joy of living".

This time we went to a beach called Anare, about an hour and a half from Caracas. The trip was pleasant because we were in a group and as you know groups are always fun.

The only problem was that the beach had very strong waves and an undertow, that is, the water was dragging people in. So we could not enjoy the benefits of swimming in its waters.

But that was not a problem, the union, fun, enjoyment was present even on our return, during the hour we had to wait for the driver, because he had gone with his wife and daughter God knows where and did not appear. In the meantime, although some people were a little worried, most of them decided to enjoy the wait talking, singing or telling jokes.

It's been two incredible weekends enjoying the goodness of the sea, the sand and the sun, I think I'm going to propose to go to the beach once a month, let's see how I do with that idea.

If you made it this far thank you very much for reading me, see you in a future post.
